Jon Vaude is a Screenwriter and Director from Metro-Atlanta. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, and a minor in African-American Studies.

Jon has interned for WarnerMedia’s TBS/TNT, Jesse Collins Entertainment, and Autumn Bailey Entertainment. He has also worked for B.E.T., Netflix, and several independent production companies.

Whether it’s his feature about 93’s Freaknik, which won the 2023 Atlanta Film Festival, or Anotha Fifteen Minutes, his pilot about a r’n’b group from Atlanta, which placed Finalist in Final Draft’s 2023 Big Break Competition, Jon’s storytelling is colored by a conscious choice to explore the stories of the south and the black community that thrives there.
