WHO’S HAUNTING WHO?
After running a phony contest to prove ghosts are real, the host of an indie investigative series must confront the paranormal when a deranged fan’s house proves to be actually haunted.
BEHIND THE CINEMA
BEHIND THE CINEMA
Who’s Haunting Who? is a horror-comedy short film that fuses paranormal happenings with the insatiable need for virality.
It was co-written by myself and a good friend, Adam Fallah, who directed the project. It began as a series of jokes and loose bullet points in a shared google drive document.
Almost two years would pass before we actually revisited it, but once we did, the first draft was finished within a week. A second, third, and fourth draft soon followed.
By that stage, not only had our story taken shape, but so had the incredibly skilled crew and talented cast that would ultimately bring the short to life.
Our story follows a wildly egotistical host and the reluctant film crew he drags along for the ghoulish ride.
Horror, even in this more comedic form, is not a sandbox I have often explored. However, I had a lot of fun co-writing this, and I could see myself dipping another toe in the house of horror.
