A look behind the scenes.

Growing up, all I ever wrote were science fiction and action novels (most of which I rarely finished). I did not discover my passion for screenwriting until I had almost graduated from high school.

Once I did, however, I dove right into the deep-end by writing (and finishing) two feature-length screenplays before my freshman year at UGA. In college, I began writing short films to develop my craft, and directed my first short a few years later.

Since that time, I have written and directed six short films, the latest of which is entitled Left Unsaid. My goal is to film another two short films before the close of 2026, as well as host a screening for them early next year.

In mid-2024, I launched my production company, Jook Joint Pictures. In 2025, I officially registered it as a LLC, and aim to build it up as a brand over the course of this year.
